It’s That Time Of Year

finals-4finals-3

It’s that time of year again, the time where you would rather be sitting in front of a fireplace, drinking hot coco, cuddled in a blanket and watching holiday movies. Instead you are sitting in a library or other studying place with a lot of other people you would rather not be around, with a Red Bull or coffee in front of you, maybe wrapped in a blanket pretending you are getting ready for bed when in reality you probably haven’t slept yet in a long time, and maybe/probably crying. Yup, it’s finals season. Even though it happens twice a year, fall finals are harder to get through than spring finals. (At least for me.)

Finals is a stressful time because it can be the deciding factor on whether or not you pass the class or on you getting that higher letter grade. Finals is also just an intimidating thing. All major tests are stressful and college is stressful so put them both together and well good luck. So why are finals such a huge deal?

Well, for most classes you have to go back to the very beginning or the class and review EVERYTHING. That’s a lot of stuff and it can take a while to re-remember it or to connect the dots again. Hence the staying up and studying all night and probably crying thing, But that’s also if you wait till the last second. That’s probably most people so then everything builds up and the stress gets real and you just break down. All I know is that you really can’t win if you wait till the last second to study and get your self together.

All I know is that I can’t wait to be sitting in front of a fireplace, drinking hot coco, cuddled in a blanket and watching holiday movies surrounded by family.
